Optical Filter Source offers a wide variety of optical coatings. Our goal is to meet the complete optical
coating needs of our customers. Here is a list of the types of coatings available:
Dichroic Color Filters: This includes discrete colors
and C-M-Y or R-G-B color mixing sets.
Hot Mirrors: This coating is used to reflect the IR component
of the spectral emission.
Cold Mirrors: This coating is used to transmit the IR component of
the spectral emission.
UV Barrier Coating: This coating is used in ultraviolet curing applications
and will exhibit characteristics specific to the application.
Anti-Reflective (A/R) Coatings: These coatings enhance the transmission
through the substrate by attenuating the reflection off of the substrate. We can provide v-coat and BBAR. We coat both MgF
and multilayer oxides.
High Reflective Coating: Some applications require a very high reflectance
at a certain wavelength. OFS can perform this service based on the wavelength of your choice.
Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) Coatings: DLC coatings are the most durable
coating available. New applications for DLC coatings are still being discovered.
